In April I ventured on a 5 week exploration of Morocco. It was a welcome relief from what I had been told was “a very bad winter” in Europe. As I stepped out the airport into the arms of a swarming taxi mob a small tear came to my eye as I remembered the charms of travel away from western cultures.
With all the challenges you will be presented with when traveling through Morocco it is still a stunningly rewarding country to visit. One moment you’re cruising through fields laced with flowers, then winding over the snow peaked Atlas Mountains to later be sand boarding down the dunes and sleeping under the stars in the Sahara Desert. Hit the coast line to see some beautiful and unique beach towns and eat a fish sandwich.
How a country so small can be so mindbogglingly varied is truly amazing.
