This shot was taken after a day of journeying by camel into the desert of Rajasthan. The man pictured was one of the leaders.

The Thar Desert is a vast, arid region in India’s northwest, forming a natural border between Pakistan and India. Covering more than 77,000 square miles, the Thar Desert is the 18th largest subtropical desert in the world.
