White Landscape, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada

My brother and I took a trip to Canada to stay in a yurt in Ontario’s beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park. We received about a foot of snow during our stay and had a great time hiking around and seeing the amazing landscape covered in white.

At 7,653 square kilometers, Algonquin Provincial Park is a large park – larger even than Grand Canyon National Park in the United States and about one and a half times the size of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. More than 2,400 lakes dot the vast park and 1,200 km of rivers and streams meander through the landscape.
