On the way to the Hohnekamm, Harz Mountains, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany
Photograph by Sebastian Berbalk
This picture was taken during a snow hike around Drei Annen Hohne. The weather was awesome!
The Harz is northern Germany’s highest mountain range, it’s 110km of rocky terrain stretching across parts of Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt, and Lower Saxony. Within the borders of Harz National Park as well as Harz Nature Park, the Hohnekamm is a ridge reaching up to 900 meters high within the Harz mountains of Saxony-Anhalt.
