Birds of a Feather, J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, Sanibel Island, Florida, United States

As the sun set over J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island, this group of wading birds flew in one by one, landing in the shallow water to preen their feathers. On the far left and right are roseate spoonbills, famous for their bright pink coloration.
J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge is my favorite spot on Sanibel Island. Even when the mosquitoes are bad, the views and wildlife is worth it. There is nothing quite like a Sanibel Sunset – it’s practically a must see thing if you visit Florida.
