In the fall, once the rain comes to western Oregon, we move east on the weekends. Where it’s dry and cold and the sun still exists.

Smith Rock State Park can be found in Oregon’s high desert, where sheer basalt and tuff cliffs have made it a perfect spot for rock climbing. Often considered the birthplace of modern American sport climbing, over one thousand routes of all difficulty levels make their way up the rocky cliffs, drawing climbers from around the world.
