This photo was taken in the Autumn of this year at Preikestolen, known in English as Pulpit Rock or Preacher’s Pulpit, a huge 604 meter cliff above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateua in Forsand, Norway. One of the most visited natural tourist attractions in Norway, Preikestolen is visited by more than 150,000 people each year!

The hike to Preikestolen is quite steep in places, taking over an hour and starting at the Preikestolhytta at 270 meters above sea level.
