Pangong Tso Lake, Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir, India

This image was taken during my trip to Ladakh on the month of August of 2012. Post monsoon, the skies cleared up and gave a clear blue canvas. Pangong Tso lake lies on the border of India and China, stretching for 134Km. Pangong Tso is one of the biggest endorheic lakes in the Himalayas and 40% of the lake lies in India – I tried to cover it to the maximum. I missed my tripod, but that can never be an excuse to not capture this beautiful landscape in panaroma.
