The chilly water of Northern California churns off the rocky coast of Mendocino, a picturesque seaside town with a population of under 900. Trails run along the cliffs, providing an incredible view of the pounding surf below. Between waves, the crystal clear water provides a magical view into the kelp forest that grows from the sea floor.
