Nepali Porter in the Khumbu Himal, Between Khumjung and Namche Bazar, Nepal
Photograph by Pieter Vuylesteke
One of the last days of the Rolwaling trek in late November of 2012, having already passed the horendous Tesi Lapscha pass and just before Namche Bazar, in the Khumbu Region, well known to all Everest trekkers.
This is one of our kitchen porters, with materials for our five star cook, Birballeke. Unbelievable what good food these people can make, even at -15 degrees celsius.
This picture was taken with a Nikon D50 and 18-55mm lens. There is a warm story to that, as I borrowed it from a fellow trekker after only three days, when my own lens broke.
I will be interested and enthusiastic about what you really are writing about the following.
