Lunch Break, Soca River, Slovenia

Lunch break during a descent of the Soca river near Bovec (Slovenia), specifically the section between Zmuklica and Cezsoca.

Every year in May we travel with a group of friends from The Netherlands to Slovenia for a week of white water paddling.

This spot just downriver of a nice playspot provides a shallow pool surrounded by a small beach, which is a really nice spot for some lunch. The section of river is not particularly tough, though provides a couple nice features and spots to play.
