Flying over the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii in my friends Cessna. The heat was buffeting the small plane as we flew over!

A shield volcano on the southern shore of the Big Island, Kilauea is the most active of five volcanoes that form the island of Hawai’i. At 300,000-600,000 years old, Kilauea is the second youngest volcano in the Hawaiian Hotspot
