Cold Paradise, Eastfjords, Iceland

I was traveling around the Eastfjords of Iceland with a few friends in November 2012. The weather wasn’t nice, a typical and lovely Icelandic “paradise”: cold, windy and snowy, and the clouds were very low on the horizon. We weren’t able to watch the beautiful scenery promised by the fjord, but that wasn’t going to stop us.
And then, suddenly, when we arrived near the top, the sky broke and offered us this breathtaking and epic vision of the fjord below. We stayed there a few minutes, caught in the magic.
