Several backcountry skiers pass a crevasse on Blackcomb Glacier.
Located above and to the east of Whistler, Blackcomb Peak forms the boundary between Garibaldi Provincial Park and the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort. Located on the north side of Blackcomb Peak, Blackcomb Glacier offers a skiing experience more akin to the Alps than to the Rockies.
