This photo was taken in the remote and isolated Kalalau Valley of Kauai, Hawaii. It is only accessible by boat or by foot. The hike in is a winding trail along magnificent and often dangerous cliffs.
While on the beach, we were often unsure of where to look. The gorgeous pacific ocean (behind the photographer) and the waterfall laden cliffs often fought for my attention.
This is most likely one of the most powerful and spiritual places I’ve ever done yoga.
