A dazzling display of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) erupted on November 13th/14th. Even though it was considered a moderate geomagnetic storm (KP 6), it was one of the best light shows I have seen in years. I did have a tense moment, however, as anywhere from 5 to 8 coyotes closed in on me to about twenty-five yards or so.
