In this suburban area of the island of Tromsø where I live, there are Arctic forest terrain with small ponds and mashes. Through the autumn seasons there has been much northern light activity in the sky, and it’s just outside the door, when I walk behind the houses it’s dark forest around me. This night it had started to get colder, and a thin layer of ice started to show on the ponds. This made the reflection from the northern light even more clear than usual. I’ve made a time lapse video out of it too which you can see here.
