With various routes of moderate difficulty, the Aiguille du Tour is one of the most popular summits of the Mont Blanc Massif in summer. But when winter comes, you can have the whole mountain, trackless, only for your mate and you to enjoy. This day of November, we climbed Couloir du Gendarme de la Table (bottom right of the picture) and came down by the glacier du Tour.

From left to right the 3 main summits are Aiguille du Chardonnet (3,824m); Aiguille Verte (4,122m); and Mont Blanc (4,810m).
