I was on ascent to the 5,114 foot summit of Algonquin Peak in the Adirondacks. This was the first day of our three day interior backpacking trip and due to this we were climbing Algonquin Peak in full packs. When we stopped for a rest I turned back to find Wright Peak crawling with climbers and I had to pull out my Nikon and snap a few shots.
The Adirondacks are located in Upstate New York and are part of the Canadian Shield. Wright Peak is 4,587 feet and Phelps Peak is 4,160 feet.
