Sunrise is an elusive time of day that many of us seldom see. It’s a shame, because the sunrise can be just as beautiful as the sunset! This week, make a point to get up early and take your camera outdoors with you to take some beautiful photos of the sunrise – many wild animals are most active in the early morning, so you never know what you might see!
On Wednesday, February 27th (at 2pm EST, so be sure to submit your entries before that time, even at 1:59pm!) we’ll choose 1 judge’s choice winner, 5 runner ups, and 1 audience choice winner & share their entries here on LetsBeWild.com! Send your friends to this page to leave a comment-vote for your entry to win the audience choice award!

i noted the dramatic sunlight before noting the blue moon, which made it extra special. there’s something so wonderful about the sun rising when a full moon is setting.. or the moon rising and the sun setting. great image!

I especially like that this topic brought back a really great time in my life, caring for an aunt before she died. I saw the most beautiful sunrises at this time. Three straight weeks of walking a Boston Terrier twice a day for two miles each time – Two Mile Lake, I called it.
