Exploration – it’s something that has defined mankind for as long as we’ve existed. Humans have always had an insatiable need to explore, to push boundaries and go where others have never ventured, taking the road less traveled. Some of us are more affected by this wanderlust than others – for some, exploration might simply be taking a new jogging path through the park. For others, climbing Everest might be their idea of exploration. However you see exploration, we’re asking you to do your best to capture it using your photography skills!
On Wednesday, December 19th (at 2pm EST, so be sure to submit your entries before that time!) we’ll choose 1 judge’s choice winner, 5 runner ups, and 1 audience choice winner & share their entries here on LetsBeWild.com! Send your friends to this page to leave a comment-vote for your entry to win the audience choice award!

I am blessed to have the curiosity of a child that keeps me richly immersed in our natural world! There were many options for this challenge, though this particular ‘event” at Playa San Miguel Costa Rica was first noted by the handful of us who noticed the subtle changes and began watching closer. Word spread, and each day brought more people to witness mother ocean’s powers.
