We had another difficult time picking our five honorable mention winners – there were some absolutely amazing entries in this challenge that really showed the beauty and power of water. The winning shots are displayed below! The competition was stiff and they are listed in no particular order. We hope everyone will join in this week’s current challenge – Wildlife!
We loved Todd’s challenge entry of a beautiful waterfall scene which he photographed using a long exposure – a perfect choice to capture the flow of the water! You can check out his winning entry here.
We loved Ritva’s entry – this shot of hers shows the reflective nature of water as the blue sky is mirrored in the water of a stream. Visit her winning entry here.
To imagine Sierra Leone without water is to take away the very thing that makes the country beautiful. The ocean defines this place.
We loved Laura’s touching photograph of a fishing boat beached at low tide on the sand in Sierra Leone! You can visit her winning entry here.
Gavin’s take on the water challenge certainly impresses – a lone climber can be seen scaling a wall of ice in Johnston Canyon in Alberta’s Banff National Park! You can visit his winning entry here.
Marianne’s shot shows us a beautiful scene photographed in Lahelle, Norway! We loved the full moon shining through the clouds and reflecting on the peaceful water! You can visit her winning entry here.
