Thomas Laussermair

Thomas Laussermair has travelled to nearly 50 countries on all continents. He pursues many outdoor sports, including hang gliding, windsurfing, kayaking, skiing; but his biggest passions are cycling and mountaineering. After a motorcycle trip to Morocco in 2001 he started publishing trip reports and photos on his personal blog and hasn't stopped since. He took his quest for adventure to new heights in 2009 when he embarked on the Panamerican Peaks project: Cycling the Panamerican Highway between Alaska and Patagonia and Climbing the highest mountain of every country along the way. This 15 months journey was entirely self-funded and helped raise more than $8,000 for Doctors Without Borders. He recently finished a multi-media iPad book about this trip which is now published in the Apple bookstore.
